Whenever we turn on the news, we’re greeted by sad stories of unemployment, robberies, and wars between nations. Sometimes, we just need a little pick-me-up, and these photos of humanity doing what it does best certainly do a good job of raising our spirits and restoring our faith in humanity:
A Man Gives His Shoes To A Homeless Girl
Artist Andrei Clompos started sketching some eyes with different expressions and took funny pictures with his naughty beagle dog named Juno. It all started with Andrei was drawing some character sketches for a project but his dog Juno didn’t let him finish them, so to pass the time he sketched some funny eyes and took photos to share with friends.
Well-trained golden retrievers wear helmets and sunglasses while cruising on scooter with owner Handoko Njotokusuma. Ace and Armani cruise through Surabaya, Indonesia, while perched on the handlebars or the pillion of his scooter. Wearing helmets and red- or green-framed sunglasses, the dogs and their owner have become local celebrities – drawing curious stares and stunned looks from passers-by.
Photographer Peter Thorpe has a little tradition of creating Christmas cards, every holiday season, featuring his dogs as different animals in highly structured handmade scenes. He started this tradition 20 years ago with his dog Paddy, and now continues with Raggle. But it seems like this year’s card is going to be the last one for Raggle because she is getting older and weaker every day.
