Her project called “No Politics. Just a Joke” includes the funny portrait of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the controversial Italian Politician Silvio Berlusconi and the Queen of England. It also has some big names from the past like Adolf Hitler, Steve Jobs and Joseph Stalin.

Atlanta-based artist Craig Alan, 40, has created paintings of famous celebrities from the aerial photographs of hundred of people making a formation.

His painstaking efforts are well-rewarded though – a single piece can sell for up to $50,000. Craig Alan has created paintings of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Elvis Presley and also the Statue of Liberty. The intricate paintings are predominantly black-and-white, with just a flash of red in the lips of the Monroe and Hepburn pieces. ~ source

Artist Creates Kevin Bacon Out Of — Bacon!

A unique portrait of Kevin Bacon made out of bacon by mosaic artist Jason Mecier. Total 15 pounds of bacon used to create this portrait. “I used burnt bacon for the shading and uncooked fatty bits for the light tones on his face. I thought I had too much bacon when I bought a 10lb bag, but I realized Kevin’s head would need much more.”
