Cathedral Replica Made with 298,000 Matchsticks

Matchstick artist Patrick Acton has painstakingly recreated the stunning replica of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Patient matchstick artist used 298,000 matchsticks, 55 liters of wood glue and 2,000 toothpicks. This matchstick replica of cathedral took him 2,000 hours but the original stone cathedral in Paris took over 180 years to build.

White House Replica Made of Sand

Sand sculptor Meredith Corson created a complicated replica of the White House using sand, behind the Bilmar Beach Resort in Treasure Island, Florida. The work was commissioned for the upcoming Republican National Convention held in Tampa During the week of August 27th.

Rolls-Royce Unveils Jet Engine Made From Lego Bricks

Rolls Royce, world-leading provider of airplane engines recently unveiled the Lego version of their newest version of Trent 1000 engine at the Farnborough International Airshow. This half-scale model is made from more than 150,000 Lego bricks, weighs 675 pounds and it took over eight weeks by a four person team at Bright-Bricks.
