A young Welsh artist, Nathan Wyburn, has created a series of celebrity portraits with jam and marmite on canvas made of toasts.

For the launching of new Costa Coffee store he painted the portraits of international celebrities David Beckam and Cheryl Cole and used over 700 slices of toasts for it. He created his tasty collection based on celebrities Britain’s would most like to have breakfast with.

The extraordinary portrait of singer Lily Allen is made of 1800 Asiatic lilies. The team of 6 flower experts spent nine hours arranging the blooms and made this amazing 6×10 feet portrait to celebrate the star’s wedding.

Hannah Martin, wedding and events manager for McQueens, commented: ‘This delicate pop art inspired ‘lily portrait’ was created to celebrate her life and her future happiness with her new husband.

Young creative Malaysian artist Hong Yi created the portrait of singer Jay Chou with nothing but spilled coffee and a mug. It took about 12 hours to complete because the tool she used was quite a challenging. She had to be precise with where to place the cup since the rings would be instantly permanent.
