Giant Poster of Girl  Aims To Make Remote Aircraft Operators Think Before They Bomb

A giant poster of a girl, specially designed to be captured by satellites, was set up in a village in the northwest of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, which is close to the border with Afghanistan to draw the attention to the pilot-less aircraft attacks killing innocent people including children.

Amnesty International suggest 900 people have been killed by strikes in Pakistan since 2004, including 330 children. A representative for the group behind the project said: ‘Although there is awareness for drone attacks, it’s rarely humanized.’

Minnesota Farmer Builds 50-Foot Snowman

Greg Novak, a farmer from Gilman, Minnesota, spent hundreds of hours building a gigantic snowman. Greg Novak says he’s invested hundreds of hours to build a 50-foot snowman named “Granddaddy” that he hopes will wake onlookers from their winter doldrums. And he admits it has some neighbors questioning his sanity.
