Those who say dog is man’s best friend clearly just forgot to hug their chicken that day. The Brumley family in Springville Calif. posted an online video of their 6-year-old boy Mason and his “Love Bird” chicken, who he has raised since she was a little chick.
In the video, Mason shares a very touching hug with the bird, who gets very close to him and settles there. Chickens are usually not that comfortable with people, but Mason’s mother Gretchen explains the two have been through a lot. He gave her the time and love she needed for her to develop into the Love Bird she is today.
